Northshore Hamilton PDA – Development Scheme Amendment

Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Linkedin Email this link

The Northshore Hamilton Priority Development Area (PDA) Development Scheme came into effect on 3 July 2009.

Economic Development Queensland (EDQ) has commenced a review of the development scheme to ensure it continues to operate effectively as the overarching planning document for the PDA.

The scope of the review includes examining:

  • the vision for the PDA to ensure it is contemporary and appropriate
  • land use and infrastructure planning to support the vision
  • development requirements in the development scheme to guide new development.

The review will result in an amendment to the development scheme following consultation with the community and other stakeholders. The review also includes preparation of a Development Charges and Offset Plan (DCOP), addressing the planning and funding of infrastructure required to service development in Northshore Hamilton.
