You will notice surveying activities being undertaken around the site during October and November 2020 and the installation of survey pegs. These are required to create a survey plan for the future subdivision of the land into two parcels. These works will be carried out in accordance with the development approval (D-64-2020) from Livingstone Shire Council.
We request that until further notice the public refrain from accessing the site.

The contract will involve constructing and landscaping approximately 400 metres of new shared pathway, connecting the rail trail at the corner of Braithwaite and James Streets, along the frontage of proposed Station Quarter at 45 James Street, Yeppoon.
The tender is open for two weeks from Wednesday 27 May until 2pm on Thursday 11 June 2020.
Tender award is anticipated by mid-June 2020.

Structural condition assessment

Consultants and contractors will be onsite intermittently during June and July 2019.
The building will remain cordoned off, however EDQ encourage people to avoid walking through the site at any time.

Contractors will be onsite intermittently during February and March 2019.
The onsite work involved contractors identifying locations and some drilling into the ground.
The affected areas will be cordoned off, however EDQ encourage people to avoid walking through the site at any time.

Minister for State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning Cameron Dick said the private sector should get involved in this exciting development opportunity, to be known as Station Quarter, in the heart of Yeppoon.
“I’m calling on all interested parties who have the capability and capacity to work with the State Government’s specialist land use planning and property development unit, Economic Development Queensland, to unlock Yeppoon’s historic past and deliver a vibrant precinct that meets market demands and local needs,” Mr Dick said.
